18. The birds are taking over the house
I have loved every minute of making these felt birds. They are an easy and fun project.
19. A couple of little projects
I really enjoyed doing this Christmas wreath. Thanks Lyn Roberts for the pattern
... and then I worked on an idea for an embroidery using needle lace
More work needed?

16. A beautiful bird
Time for something different
It was time to do a new design. I loved this one and decided to give it a go. It was very different from anything else I had done and exciting to try. I loved doing it and was very happy with the result.
I decided to make it into a cushion for Jasmine. I hope she likes it.

15. Embroidery and sewing
Lovely cushions
I bought a kit of three cushions at Faeries in my Garden at Shorncliffe. I started immediately on the Embroidery which I loved. Once this was finished, I made the quilted cushion and then the overlay cushion with the Toile fabric.
I was very happy with the finished cushions.

14. From the sublime
From the sublime to the ridiculous
I loved the new techniques I learned from Marée Talbot with the Jacobean Lion workshop. I enjoyed every minute doing this fine, tiny embroidery and was very happy with the finished work which I think is exquisite.
While we have been in isolation, I have been amusing myself with making folk art felt birds. If I’m not careful, I will be living in an aviary.
Since I took this photo, I have added a swan and a flamingo.

13. Pin cushions
Special pin cushions
One of my early projects was a decorative pin cushion. I did not realise when I made it how much use it would get. It is a much loved and much used addition to my sewing box.
Since then, I have made more pin cushions as gifts for crafty friends. I have enjoyed creating news designs.
